Cullen Training & Consultancy performed a complete safety statement, risk assessments, and DSE assessments for our large building in Galway city. This was professional and thorough and included internal/external noise studies, child protection policies, an original fire safety plan, and many others. They continue to assist us in our pursuit of compliance and are always available for advice when we need it. - Liam Griffin, Discovery Charity

The manual handling course was great fun, the trainers knew so much. Thought the course would be long and boring, but ended up having a great time and learning a lot - R.N, Youth Counselor

Angela not only created a safety statement and risk assessments for our new inclusion and sensory room for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, she also used her previous work experience and designed the room for us. She continues to assist us in all areas of health and safety and the running of the inclusion program - Debra N, Child Psychologist

Took the Fire Safety Officer Training, it was a great course. At the end I understood the gravity of fire safety and everything I needed to implement our fire safety policies and to keep my staff safe - K.B., Construction Supervisor

Safety Statements

Every company is legally required to have a safety statement. This document is filled with policies, procedures, and legislation acknowledging the hazards in your workplace and how you plan to combat them.

VDU/DSE Assessments

Employers are legally required to have these assessments carried out when a new workstation is set up,
when a new employee starts work, or when a considerable change is made to an existing workstation. Assessments should also be done again if there is  reason to suspect they may no longer be valid, such as if the user starts to experience pain or discomfort.

Risk Assessments

These are normally carried out as part of the Safety Statement. However, if there is new equipment, new  employees, or a new type of work, individual risk assessments can be carried out. This includes internal/external noise studies, fire safety, child protection, kitchen assessments, chemical assessments, particulate matter testing.
